Do you know that there are over 450 vineyards in England and Wales?  And that some English wines have gained international awards - and not just the big boys, some smaller commercial vineyards have had great success in national and international competitions.

Most Vineyards have a map which is free to visitors and one can keep it in the car and visit a vineyard whenever you find yourself in the vicinity.  Visiting times are listed on the map.
