Sparkling Wine Tasting

Join us at New Lodge Vineyard for a guided tasting through six of the world’s finest sparkling wine styles — poured side by side so you can taste the differences for yourself. From the delicate sweetness of Italian Asti and the crisp charm of Prosecco, to the traditional-method depth of Spanish Cava, the prestige of French Champagne, Tasmania  challenging the Old World at its own game, and the award-winning quality of English sparkling wine (including our own), this tasting is a journey through terroir, tradition and technique.

Guided by our experienced host, you’ll explore how grape variety, region and production method shape each glass — and discover why English sparkling wine, and now Tasmania, are rivalling the best in the world, Champagne included.
