Vine Bathing
Join us at New Lodge Vineyard on Sunday 2nd August for a morning Vine Bathing session.
For anyone new to the idea: vine bathing takes its inspiration from forest bathing (shinrin-yoku), the Japanese practice of slowing down and immersing yourself mindfully in nature. Instead of a forest, we bring that same practice to the vineyard rows —mindfulness among the vines, breathing exercises, light drumming and time to properly notice the sights, scents and textures around you: new leaves, ripening fruit, soil, birdsong. It’s less a workout, more a reset, and it’s been shown to ease stress and lift mood in the same way forest bathing does.

In the true spirit of determination – this event will go ahead, no matter the weather. If very sunny, the vine alleys we have in mind have glorious dappled shade, and if raining, they will offer a little shelter, but still allow through some stimulating and cleansing raindrops.
